THERE WAS ENOUGH STAR WARS NEWS THIS WEEK TO FILL A SPACECRUISER, INCLUDING STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS REVEALS AND MORE!
Galaxy Wire is a weekly roundup of the StarWars.com team’s favorite activity relating to Jedi, Sith, and the power of the Force on the Internet. From Star Wars: The Force Awakens tidbits to photos of dogs dressed like Ewoks, you’ll find it all here. Thankfully, no Bothans died to get us this information.


Audio Recording of 1977 Star Wars Audience
For those born in the middle or after the release of the original trilogy, it’s essentially impossible to know what it was like to be in the theater watching Star Wars during its original run. Well, someone in 1977 had the foresight to record the audio of a theater audience. The crowd cheers at the big moments, from Han’s return to the Death Star’s destruction, and just seems genuinely invested in the film. Really amazing to hear!


Vanity Fair‘s Star Wars: The Force Awakens Photos
First there was the cover. Then there was Kylo Ren unmasked. Then there was Captain Phasma. Vanity Fair‘s next issue features a Star Wars: The Force Awakens blowout with cast photos by Annie Leibovitz, and sneak peek images were released in celebration of Star Wars Day. They’re beautiful, and help to form more of the Force Awakens puzzle. The magazine also released an excerpt from an interview with director J.J. Abrams, in which he discusses sneaking references into the film, showing John Williams footage from the movie, and more.


Star Wars Day: Jedi Pets
Another Star Wars Day has come and gone, one filled with movie marathons, blue-milk toasts, and more. Among all the great coverage, however, was one particular standout: BuzzFeed’s collection of pets dressed up as Star Wars characters.
Game Informer‘s Disney Infinity 3.0 Special
StarWars.com announced this week that Star Wars would meet Disney, Marvel, and Pixar in Disney Infinity 3.0. Characters from the prequels, Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Ahsoka!), and the original trilogy are set to appear. And it. Looks. AWESOME. Game Informer’s next issue has a cover story on the game, and they also released a fantastic video on the making of its amazing figures. If you are a collector, designer, or fan of Princess Leia, you don’t want to miss it.

RON HOWARD DISCUSSES THE FORCES THAT SHAPE HAN IN SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY ON THE STAR WARS SHOW

Han Solo has been a fan favorite since we first met him and his walking carpet of a copilot inside the wretched hive that is the Mos Eisley cantina.  And when Director Ron  swtor credits   Howard takes us back to Solo’s earlier days in Solo: A Star Wars Story later this month, he promises to examine some the scoundrel’s multifaceted personality and explore what — and who — shaped him into the hero we already know and love. This week on The Star Wars Show, Howard sits down to talk about Han’s enduring appeal, which all comes down to the character’s  swtor credits   duality. “He’s a great guy and he hates that about himself!” Howard says. “The idea that he’s out for himself, he’s got an outlaw spirit and code on one hand, but he can’t quite live it and walk it (because) he doesn’t entirely feel it.” Bonus: The good-natured director didn’t just talk business while he was here. MEET THE GEONOSIS JEDI GET TO KNOW THE JEDI WARRIORS WHO WERE THE FIRST TO FIGHT THE CLONE WARS! When Obi-Wan Kenobi got captured on Geonosis by the powerhouses of the Secessionist Movement, Mace Windu decided to lead a task force of 200 Jedi. Meanwhile, Yoda left for the Kamino system where the Republic would make use of the mysterious clone army that had been ordered about a decade ago by Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas. The participation of the Jedi on Geonosis would prove to be an omen of what the Clone Wars would bring for the guardians of peace and justice. The battle showed what the Jedi were and also what they weren’t. The Jedi were compassionate beings who didn’t hesitate to rescue a fellow Jedi in need and who did anything they could to protect the Galactic Republic. But the Jedi had evolved into diplomats and keepers of the peace instead of hardened battlefield commanders.
